Ryan moved to Raleigh in 2010. He grew up in Greensboro, NC, where he had a cat and a dog. Ryan currently has an orange Tabby cat named Malvo. He spends his time cooking, trying new restaurants, watching the Panthers, and playing tennis. So far, his favorite job has been to join the aMANda’S BEST FRIEND family, but his dream job would be traveling to experience different foods around the world. To Ryan, family means a group of people who care about you that you can trust and rely on. And being at home means being in a place where he can relax, unwind, and destress from the day. Ryan’s friends would describe him as easy-going, loyal, and optimistic. The most exciting thing Ryan has ever done is going on a 50+ mile backpacking trip in the Appalachian Mountains.

Caroline has lived in the Raleigh area her whole life. She grew up with labrador retrievers and now is an “auntie” to her roommate’s dog, Meeko. Caroline loves to read, practice yoga, and travel. She is a recent graduate of East Carolina University where she received her BA in English. For her, home is a safe place to land and family means a community that supports and loves her unconditionally. Her most memorable life experience has been a Yoga for Healing workshop where she learned that happiness is being content in who she is and learning to embrace it. Her biggest hope is that she would always be attuned to herself, and by doing so inspire others to do the same. Her friends would describe her as strong-willed, compassionate and mindful. This past May she traveled to France and Italy with all the women in her family.
